The question I was never asked before at a job interview

‘How do you see your career path, and how can we help you crafting it?’ The question amazed me, no one ever asked me that during a job interview, let alone the first interview. Self-development and gaining new knowledge is my main driver as a professional, so I was triggered and decided to take the leap. I take a special interest in SAP IBP and finding challenging projects in this niche solution can be a challenge. The great thing is that McCoy followed up on the expectations set during that first interview. I work with the best SAP (IBP) consultants now, allowing me to learn from them. Also, I was assigned a project in my first week so I can put all my SAP IBP knowledge into practice and deepen it further. And I got access to SAP’s learning hub. In short: learning never seems to stop here, and I love that.   

We are serious about delivering results for our clients around the globe. Yet, the team is also fun. I quickly learned to appreciate the sense of humor of my Dutch colleagues. We work as a team and have weekly calls to catch up on projects. Besides, the management also checks in on a more personal level. They are interested to know if I still enjoy my project, am challenged enough and if the work-life balance is okay. Challenged I am, for sure. In a good way: I have to opportunity to travel and visited a clients’ plant in Europe to witness the manufacturing process with my own eyes. I feel like my career path is unfolding in the right direction, and it feels great to have the support of my colleagues along the road.
